"A crude assay has been run on sample of 27.0API djati barang DB-44 crude oil. Test on the crude oil show the follwing characteristics:Gravity at 60oF oAPI : 27.0 SPECFIC Gravity 60/60 oF : 0.893 Sulphur content wt % :0.17 Asphaltenes content wt % :0.75 Wax content wt % : 19.5 27.00 API Djatibarang DB-44 crude oil belongs to the paraffinic-paraffinic base according to the U.S. Bureau of Mines classification. The gasoline fractions up to 2000c final boiling point have low octane numbers. The naphtha fractions have low aromatics content. The burning quality of kerosine fractions are fairly good, as indicated by their smoke point. Gas oil fractions have high diesel index. Heavy distillate fractions have high wax content.
