Abstraksi
This report contains charts describing relations between yield and properties of kerosene and gas oil fractions from minas crude oil. For the preparation, crude assay has been run on a sample of 34.5 oAPI minas crude oil. Tests on the crude show the following characteristics: O API Gravity at 60oF: 34.5 Specific Gravity 60/60o F: 0.852 Wax content wt% : 16.1 Sulphur content wt % : 0.08 Pour poin oC : 36 Characterization factor kuop: 12.4 Characterization factor kuop: 12.4 This crude oil is classified as “ paraffinic-intermediair†according to the bureau of Mines classification. Relation between yields and properties of kerosines and of gas oils were determined and compiled in tables and charts.
